Plastic Bee Hive

Our unique, plastic bee hive is manufactured according to the prescribed Langstroth design dimensions.  The bee box is assembled as a standard hive or an observation hive using our 16 mm plastic boards, precision cut on our CNC router.

Not only is the bee box made from plastic, but the super, lid, landing board and stand are too.  Our plastic hives are gaining popularity with progressive thinkers because of their longevity, compared to traditional hives that are subject to wood rot because of damp and moisture.  Made from foamed, white PVC our hives also better regulate the internal temperatures, encouraging a thriving colony.

The glass ‘windows’ can be incorporated into the sides of the plastic box, to enable the observer to study and enjoy the intriguing life within a colony.
